How many of us actually "get" the places that surround us?
Do our locations matter to us beyond concerns like safety and sufficiency? Do they inspire? Do we even expect them to? And if they do, can we describe why?
If the places we inhabit are not the places that we love, perhaps it is because we make not what we want, but merely what we can accomplish.
Our successfully built environment, which can seem so bereft of design, results from neglecting our own in-built preference for desirable places.
For those who can’t help but want what we want, undwel is a place to rediscover the joy within the beautiful world that we make for one another.
